Annual Salary: $64,916.80 - $84,302.40

Position Information:

Under direction, organizes, supervises, and coordinates the preparation and distribution of the Washoe County payroll; and performs related work as required.

This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current full-time vacancy in the Comptroller’s Department. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.

This recruitment uses a Training and Experience Exam (T&E) which is due at the time of application.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of full-time payroll processing experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

License Or Certificate:

• A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous government payroll experience (preferred).
• Possess strong computer skills.
• Have extensive payroll software experience; SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have a strong commitment to providing customers with excellent service.
