Job description
Assists in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and overseeing the work of Judicial Court Clerks, visiting judge clerks, students, and interns. Promotes the orderly flow of court proceedings and related documentation. Assists in supervising the accuracy of journal entries and other court processes. Participates in the committees related to the implementation of special projects. Assists with training judicial court clerks in all aspects of judicial proceedings. Includes docket management, docket reporting, and processing paperwork. Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of judicial court clerks. Coordinates clerk coverage for the Family Division and Civil/Criminal Division Judges. Collaborates with the County Clerk’s Office and the Case Management Office to implement criminal procedure practices. Assists Court and Court Administrator’s Office with special projects and in providing reports for State Court Administrative Office (SCAO). Utilizes current county-wide and department-specific software to complete assignments.

1. Must have completed an Associate's degree or sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited college or university.
NOTE: Applicants possessing transcripts from a college or university outside of the United States will be required to provide documentation of degree equivalency from a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://naces.org/members.html). The degree evaluation will be required for application processing.
2. Have at least one (1) year experience in the processing of records related to court proceedings.
3. Pass the complete examination, including the employment physical established for this class.
4. Successfully complete the six month probationary period.
