We are a regional public accounting firm looking for a highly motivated CPA with a least 3 years' experience in public accounting to join our team. Our firm works with businesses and individuals with complex tax and accounting needs. Responsibilities:

• Develop client relationships through responsive communication.
• Expand client engagements.
• Prepare corporate, personal, trust, and estate tax returns.
• Create projections and recommend tax planning strategies for clients.
• Contribute to workflow, process development, and innovation within the company.
• Communicate frequently with government tax authorities including federal and multi-state.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
• Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, App based software, and Zoom video conferencing.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite a plus.
• Ability to direct and lead others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• BA/BS Degree (MA Accounting/ Taxation preferred)

License:

• Certified Public Accounting - North Carolina

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
