We are seeking a seasoned Creative Account Manager for our retail client. In this role you will ensure the successful creation and delivery of creative assets (graphics, images, copy, video) for omni-channel campaigns. This will include posts to various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.), interactive tools/events, and other online experiences for our client.
This position entails owning the internal client relationship, interfacing with external agencies, leading cross-functional teams, proactively partnering with marketing counterparts for quarterly planning of ongoing and seasonal campaigns, creating project schedules, establishing project roadmaps, and ensuring on-time delivery of assets.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure project intake reflects strategic requirements and creative output delivers on the strategy.
- Interface with external agencies
- Understand the creative process and communicate effectively with art directors, copywriters, photo and video resources.
- Lead digital creative production through the producer team.
- Develop and optimize processes.
- Manage change and align all cross-functional partners.
- Ensure the timely execution and delivery of creative projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (marketing, site merchandising, design, copywriting, content strategy, etc.) in order to ensure the completion of digital creative projects.
- Understand the project management discipline and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of project action plans.
Qualifications:
- Excellent soft skills (influencing and communication and leadership) and proven relationship-building skills.
- Ensures project intake reflects strategic requirements and creative output delivers on the strategy.
- Thrives, excels, and remains calm in an extremely fast-paced and high-volume production environment.
- 4-5 years experience as an account manager or hybrid account/project manager.
- 4-5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
- 4-5 years of experience managing vendor contracts and relationships.
- 4-5 years experience in managing digital assets.
- 2-3 years experience in a retail environment (or other high-volume industry.)
