Our client in the oil and energy industry is looking for a talented Project Manager!

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the tactical execution of enterprise-wide communications initiatives. You will demonstrate proficiency in foundational and advanced project management competencies to deliver customer service excellence and build positive internal/external relationships.

This role is a long-term contract with full-time hours (35-40 hours/week) and is 100% remote. Healthcare benefits are available for purchase, and PTO is accrued.

Responsibilities:

• Manage deliverables with appropriate workflows and resources.
• Support large-scale programs, partnering with Account Director and Senior Project Managers while managing the tactical execution of defined assets.
• For ad hoc projects, partner with internal clients to define fit-for-purpose solutions that support their goals.
• Function as a primary client-facing project liaison between the client and the project resource team.
• Develop project briefs, level-of-effort estimates, and project schedules to inform accurate project resourcing.
• Collaborate with appropriate functional team leads to define resource needs and project task assignments.
• Ensure project requirements and milestones are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of the project team, ensuring that everyone understands their responsibilities, properly executes their assignments, and remains informed throughout a projects' lifecycle.
• Provide proactive/ regular communication of project status with clients and properly sets client expectations.
• Embrace use of project management system; responsible to keep project data current and accurate.
• Manage all project-based vendor interactions including obtaining bids, approving estimates and invoices.
• Actively monitor project hours real-time to mitigate scope creep or initiate scope change if appropriate.
• Proactively troubleshoot, escalate and step in to be as hands-on as necessary to mitigate at-risk projects.
• Inspire project team to delivery quality; ultimately responsible to deliver work on time, on budget and on brand.
• Lead by example, praise/recognize performances.
• Inspire and provide positive work environment and encourage innovation and creativity.
• Deepen internal/external relationships with high emotional EQ building trust while leading and collaborating with cross-functional resources, departments, offices, divisions, functions, etc. within a large, global company.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in project management in marketing, communications, or creative services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working in a client-facing role is critical.
• PM certification is a plus.
• Experience working in PM software.
• Experience building scopes of work, writing project briefs, developing production schedules and managing production.
• Well-rounded executional experience spanning print/static media (collateral, signage, custom illustration, and graphics work and print production), video production (film, animation, broadcast, digital/web use), digital media (website development - SharePoint or CMS based, email, and social media) and events.
• Synthesizes complex information, distills to mission-critical factors and properly disseminates.
• Effectively conveys objectives and ensures everyone understands their specific tasks to accomplish goals.
• Ability to engage key stakeholders and gain support by making a compelling case.
• Takes full ownership and accountability for proper planning, oversight and execution of project assignments.
• Demonstrates confidence in decision making to deliver excellent customers service while mitigating risks.
• Independent, analytical thinker who collaborates well within team and cross-functional environment.
• Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to apply quality control practices to all processes.
