Credentialing Coordinator-Travel Division
Job description
Are you a people person who can work in a fast paced environment with a flexible mindset? The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for staffing employees on temporary assignments and ensuring the required credentials associated to the employee and assignment are met.
Reporting Relationships:
- The Travel/Credentialing Coordinator reports to the Travel Manager.
- The Travel/Credentialing Coordinator has no supervisory responsibility.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Temporary Healthcare Professionals (THP’s) Screening/Interviewing (20%).
2. Managing THP database (20%)
3. Nurse Placement (20%)
4. Nurse Relations (10%)
5. Order Management (10%)
6. Credentialing/References (15%)
7. Other Responsibilities (5%)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of customer service and human relations principles.
· Knowledge of computer operation and peripheral use.
· Excellent written communication and time management skills.
· Ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal and working relationships.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone.
· Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Ability to make decisions and resolve problems.
· Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under stressful conditions.
Equipment Used:
Multi-line telephone; personal computer PC) and printer; fax machine; copy machine.
Qualifications:
· Minimum: A high school diploma or GED and two years of related experience.
· Preferred: A degree from a four-year college or university (in any major field); experience in the temporary staffing or medical staffing industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
