TEAM OVERVIEW
The Hospital Privileging Supervisor will be working remotely with Credentialing, Licensing and Privileging Team which is comprised of talented business office professionals with significant experience in developing and operating efficiently. POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is hiring a Hospital Privileging Supervisor. The position will report to a credentialing manager and will be focusing on processing reappointment applications in an accurate and timely fashion.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain specific departmental workflow responsibilities as assigned
· Facilitate applications readiness phase
· Resignation notices/process
· Off cycle notices/process
· Audit daily reports and send out tools to the specialists, cc’ management
· Assist with follow-up on requests from other departments(internal/external) for information requested/needed to meet departmental goals
- Work collaboratively with the Privileging Manager to assist with interviews, training and feedback for employee performance.
· Serve as the knowledge resource and/or first responder to questions regarding procedures and policies
· Complete and facilitate meetings with team members, Practice Directors/Practice Managers and Clients, as necessary
· Maintains knowledge of hospital specific requirements for credentialing providers
· Assist in coaching of team members
· Manage varied team projects as required: assign responsibility, organize work and report to Manager on progress
· Provide technical project details during system enhancement projects, as necessary
· Assists with initial and recredentialing process as requested
· Provide back up to Manager in his/her absence
· Other duties as needed
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience in the healthcare industry is a must
· Prior leadership experience preferred
· 1 — 2 years of experience in credentialing required
· Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a fast paced and goal driven environment under minimal supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including letters, memos, and emails
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to research and analyze data
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Proven track record to independently problem solve
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization
· Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and internet resources
