Robert Half is hiring for a Credit Assistant to join a reputable organization in Fort Worth, Texas. The Credit Assistant is accountable for performing a wide variety of credit functions in an accurate and timely manner including assisting the Credit and Accounts Receivable management team and providing administrative support to the department representatives. This position will interview and start immediately, so apply today!Gather, compile and provide specialized daily, bi-weekly, and monthly reports for internal customers in various departments utilizing Yukon, Intacct, Microsoft Excel and Internet.
Print and distribute invoices upon request from internal and external customers.
Order Coface, D& B, Summit and Internet customer credit profiles upon request.
Administrative responsibilities include adding and maintaining system accounts, assisting internal customers regarding credit holds and other specific issues with customer accounts.
Support internal and external customers in a manner which ensures total quality and effective customer service.
Effectively support the Credit Analyst and AR Coordinator by providing assistance in all areas as requested, including but not limited to, special projects, cross training with team members, researching issues and reporting unusual activity to the Corporate Controller. Reviewing for opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Prioritize and review the Credit Inbox for credit applications, orders on hold, change of address and credit limit increases.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high transaction environment with strong organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Ability to learn other software packages.
- 10 key by touch and strong typing/data entry skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.
- Exhibits a strong customer service focus with a strong sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
- Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Exhibits good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid decision-making skills including ability to analyze impact of decisions before execution.
