Summary and Scope of Position:
Multiple Locations Store Managers at Spacetel, Authorized dealer for Cricket Wireless, run all aspects of the Cricket Authorized business including, but not limited to; financial management (including safekeeping of monies and devices by assuring company assets are locked in a safe at all times, unless being actively used), business operations (ensuring deposits according to schedules and performing duties as directed), day to day store location operations (must follow all SOPs, training guides and one on one training from Corporate Office and the District Manager), customer service (always remember what Cricket stands for #STSA/Something to Smile About. You are expected to always provide a customer experience that gives every customer #STSA), retention (ensuring a positive comfortable work environment for Sales Advocates to grow and learn), promotions (setting new trends to drive customers in), inventory (ensuring all inventory is secured and accounted for), and employee training/development (for both new and vetted employees).
General Duties:
- Will serve as the Store Manager for multiple locations of Spacetel Cricket Wireless, with a focus on building Spacetel employees to perform to the expectations of Spacetel
- Set and achieve sales goals and service performance requirements through new customer sales, sales of accessories and features, and by providing excellent customer satisfaction
- Responsible for local grassroots marketing and prospecting initiatives. Solicit, coordinate and participate in community events
- Set the tone for store culture and environment to ensure success in all aspects of sales and customer service
- Supervision of sales staff include but not limited to; leading by example, mentoring, coaching, scheduling and counseling
- Provide positive reinforcement and training to promote learning and growth of sales advocates
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Share best practices with other store locations of Spacetel
- Manage and direct all activities related to the day to day bank deposits
- Assure the Cash Safe and Phone/Device Safe is locked at all times when not in use
- Perform closing duties as part of your store daily checklist (including but not limited to locking all safes, doors, windows and ensuring the alarm system is activated)
- Provide resolutions to customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Manage ordering, receiving, discrepancies. Also, complete daily, weekly and month-end counts
- Establish and maintain adherence to budget
- Ensure 100% completion of all required training upon hire, monthly and annually per cricket wireless standards, for self and all staff
- Master Velocity training for personal growth and staff development
- Develop and Manage positive business relationships with staff and customers
- Participate in the new hire process-review resumes sent by HR, may perform phone screenings, in person interviews, and complete onboarding paperwork.
- Participate in corrective action for subordinates per Spacetel Policy and Procedures
- Ensure proper merchandising within store, including product placement, display and brand compliance per Cricket wireless standards
- Understands customers’ needs and help them discover how our no contract products meet those needs
- Possess a competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed goals objectives assigned
- Multi-task in a fast paced team environment
- Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations and/or other means trained to do
- Interact with customers and provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Must be able to plan and create informative meetings with staff
- Conduct positive coaching sessions as needed for corrective actions
- Must be able to communicate daily achievements with store employees
- Must highlight accomplishments of the day with store employees
- Be accountable for team communications by ensuring communications from upper management of the Corporate Office are delivered to all staff in the assigned market area and that they fully understand said communications and are immediately implemented in the storefronts
- Perform all duties of subordinates as needed
- Assure all store locations open timely according to store location hours
- Regular physical activity will be required; setting up promotional material, changing out displays, etc.
- Submit all transactions journals on a daily basis
- Assists with inventory maintenance
- Able to travel and work in other locations of Spacetel
- Follow all directives of District Sales Managers and Spacetel Corporate Office
- Be respectful to Spacetel employees and visitors (includes customers or potential customers)
- Follow Spacetels Code of Conduct and ensure proper business etiquette
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, peak retail selling periods and holidays
- Able to meet the requirement to work full hours on (at minimum) two weekends of a month
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 10-25 pounds
- Ability to complete all paperwork completely, accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, point of sale system, copier and fax
- Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written and oral procedures
- Any other reasonable work related requests

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year proven retail (wireless cell phone retail preferred) sales management experience (interactive sales process, commissioned sales)
- Minimum of one year experience managing against financial goals, budgeting, forecasting and managing results
- Minimum of one year experience in selecting, managing and developing employees (proven leadership and retention skills)
Preferred Qualifications:
- At minimum three years of retail experience in sales or customer service (prior wireless cell phone company experience highly sought)
- At least 18 and with a high school diploma or GED, associates degree and above
- Sales experience in a quota driven environment preferred
- Proficient use of PC software (MS Office preferred) and point of sale system
