We are looking for the right candidate who wants to practice law and go to trial to win cases. We have a great support team and are currently expanding. We are exclusively dedicated to the practice of criminal defense in both State and Federal courts. Salary is commensurate with experience. We offer aggressive bonus incentives, bar dues, health insurance, CLE, and more.
Compensation:$120,000 - $200,000
Responsibilities:- Prepares cases for trial, examines witnesses, presents legal arguments and evidence
- Determines case strategies and solutions
- Conducts legal research
- Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
- Reviews drafts of pleadings, motions, and memoranda prepared by legal staff
- Provide legal counsel to clients
- Manage a demanding caseload
- May require evening and weekend hours
- Be licensed to practice law in Texas
- Have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience practicing criminal law
- A demonstrated strong work ethic
- Possess Intelligence and strong analytical skills
- Follows through on commitments
- Be open-minded to learning and expanding
- Ready to do great work
- Trial experience required
- Possess a sense of humor
