The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.
A Crisis Response Clinician services as part of a community-based mental health team that provides wrap-around support services for individuals seeking recovery from mental illness who need more support than regular outpatient services. River Edge currently seeking Crisis Workers to join our team contracted to provide services in the local hospital Emergency Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· This position will be working out of the local medical hospital, primarily in the ER, completing crisis assessments on patients who present with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
· It will be the responsibility of this staff person, working with the ER MD, to determine if the patient needs inpatient placement, to facilitate that placement and complete the appropriate documentation.
· This position also requires excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.
Location/Schedule: PART-TIME - evenings and weekends.
Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience):
· Fully COVID Vaccinated
· Must have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, MH Counseling, Rehab Counseling or Marriage
· Family Therapy which would qualify candidates for licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT
· Fully licensed or associate licensed strongly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only

- Milledgeville, GA 31061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT (Preferred)
