Position: Marketing Data Analyst

Location: Bryn Mawr, PA


Overview:

ESF Camps & Experiences is looking to hire an experienced CRM Analyst to join our Growth Marketing Team. At ESF, the CRM Analyst may also be referred to as a Data Engineer and Marketing Analyst. This role will report to Technology & Growth Marketing Director, and work closely with Director of Marketing and Director of Admissions to analyze data and track performance metrics to inform campaign strategy and optimize results. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and trouble-shooting data issues. To succeed in the role, you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of current/widely accepted data analysis tools and databases.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

(Campaign & Data Tracking)

  • Execute the data tracking of cross-channel marketing campaigns, including email, text, social media, and other channels.
  • Support the development of marketing materials and content for data tracking purposes.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to inform campaign strategy and optimize results.

(Data Analysis and Reporting)

  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported and exported data.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Create and maintain reporting systems, platforms, and processes for various departments.
  • Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  • Ad hoc data projects/study for growth and other departments.

(Tools)

  • Analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Perform Data hygiene and the maintenance of CRM.
  • Able to create & track campaigns utilizing Google Analytics.
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.

(Team)

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to support the overall marketing efforts of the organization.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.

(Skills)

  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in marketing and data analysis.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing or data analysis required.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and platforms required.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Pardot or equivalent CRM required.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Experience with marketing automation preferred.
  • Excel skills & experience required.
  • Google Analytics skills & experience preferred.
  • Tableau skills & experience preferred.
  • SQL skills & experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, engineering, marketing, business, or equivalence.


Reporting Relationship(s):

  • Reports to Technology & Growth Marketing Director, and work closely with Director of Marketing and Director of Admissions.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Close collaboration with Customer Engagement, Marketing, Admissions, and Finance Teams
  • In-person work at ESF's HQ in Bryn Mawr, PA, with allowance of one remote day per week.
  • Occasional to travel to ESF's sites and markets, as far south as Maryland and as far north as Connecticut.
  • Working occasional weekend and evening events may be required.
