Position description
We are looking for a passionate and committed CRM Systems Analyst to join our global IT team in Zaventem (Brussels, Belgium). This position plays an essential role in the further simplification, integration and automation of end-to-end business processes and data flows by providing IT solutions, with the objective to increase internal efficiencies and drive business growth. You will find yourself on the crossroads between business and IT. While doing technical analyses and configuration, you will have to collaborate and align with business.
You will report to the IT Business Applications Manager – CRM & eCommerce and be part of the team supporting marketing, sales & customer service on the Salesforce platform. We enable our business to work efficiently by ensuring the platforms are performant and up-to-date. The focus lies on creating added value rather than just “keeping the lights on”.
You will be the main Salesforce administrator, giving you great visibility & responsibility. That also means you take full ownership of issues and change requests, bringing these to completion in a timely manner.
We value honest feedback and expect a “can do” attitude. Together with the team you will evaluate and challenge change requests to understand the real business needs and correctly prioritize it in the backlog.
Miraclon is currently undertaking a major overhaul of its Salesforce platform. This provides a great opportunity as you will be able to help shape and own the new Salesforce solution.
Responsibilities
In the scope of the Salesforce platform overhaul:
- Understand and have mastered lead nurturing, lead conversion, opportunity pipeline management and data deduplication.
- Know how to work with Salesforce Flow to automate business processes.
- Understand the current automation of CPQ business processes. Gain sufficient knowledge of current automations of CPQ processes end-to-end, including all integrated solutions and complemented with manual steps.
- Document business requirements in a consistent manner. Translate business needs into business requirements, make specification of detailed functional requirements in the form of user stories.
- Support validation of developments. Support end-to-end testing prior to user acceptance testing. Coordinate validation activities and ensure processing of findings (bugs, change requests). Support business in the validation process acting as an expert regarding the system functionality.
- Support training. In cooperation with business develop training materials about the new Salesforce environment.
In the scope of the post-project maintenance:
- Corrective maintenance. Ensure the keep-it-running of the Salesforce platform: monitor solution and solve incidents related to the solution, participate to the resolution of incidents in close contact with key users, internal technical specialists, and external IT partner(s) when relevant. For incidents related to integration, work closely with the integration team.
- Evolutive maintenance. Ensure the maintenance of the Salesforce platform. Analyze and implement change requests linked to the solution in close contact with key users, internal technical specialists, and external IT partner(s) when relevant.
- System configuration. Perform Salesforce platform configuration when a solution can be provided without customization/coding, for example by setting up products and pricing rules, templates, reports, roles, etc.
- System use governance. Act as an expert regarding best practices of the Salesforce platform use, provide guidance to users about optimal utilization of products and pricing functionality.
- Define and document recommendations based on learnings and objectives.
- Keep up to date with CRM best practices; provide recommendations for further improvements.
Education requirements
- University degree in Business Economics, Marketing, IT or similar;
- Fluent in English (both written and oral); other languages are a plus.
Experience requirements
- Proven experience with the Salesforce platform, having achieved at least 1 certificate;
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ and/or Pardot;
- Experience with Google Analytics and/or PDF Butler is a plus;
- Knowledge of APEX is a plus.
