About us

Creek Bottom Brewing Company has been a successful brewery, restaurant and craft beer market in Galax, VA since 2013. We produce multiple craft beers from our attached brewery. The restaurant focuses on wood-fired brick-oven pizza, smoked wings, handcrafted sammiches & awesome appetizers. We also have live music most every Friday & Saturday evenings.

We are looking for a Culinary Professional to prepare food to the restaurant's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. prep meats, chop vegetables, prepare sauces, etc.)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and close restaurant when needed
• Stock inventory
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude while ensuring the success of all team members

Skills

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
