Job Title: Customer Service Agent / Warehouse

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Duration: 6 months

This is a temp to hire position. The right person for this position needs to have people and customer service skills, be computer literate and able to learn new softwares. Needs to be able to do warehouse work, doing quotations, entering orders, etc. Being punctual is critical.

Description:

This position is responsible for being a part of a team that Provides Excellent Customer Service while engaging with walk-In customers at the counter, taking customer orders over the phone, looking up parts and supplies and invoicing orders. At times this position is responsible for helping with warehouse duties such as loading/unloading deliveries, picking materials for next day orders, assist in the receiving and restocking of parts/products, including the use of a forklift.

How you will do it

  • Communicate daily with customers via phone, e-mail, in-store interaction.
  • Enter customer orders promptly with high accuracy
  • Promote and support sales promotions.
  • Collaborate with regional sales force and other field staff to deliver premier customer service.
  • Work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, technical service, marketing, etc.
  • Research and resolve customer complaints and issues as well as providing customer assistance in locating and identifying replacement parts.
  • Provide same day responses to scheduled dates and backorder status of product.
  • Research and process credit and return requests.
  • Performs daily maintenance to customer orders to ensure timely delivery based on customer demand.
  • Other duties may be assigned by Management

What we look for

Required Qualification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Experience related to Customer Service and high-volume calls.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
  • Able to Multi-task effectively while prioritizing daily workflow
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are vital.

Preferred Skills:

  • Forklift experience a plus (Will Train)
  • 5+ years in Customer Service a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 per hour
