Customer Service Assistant*
The Customer Service Assistant (CSA) is responsible for day-to-day activities that relate to our external customer relations and corresponding internal flow of task management. The CSA responds to all email and voicemail inquiries in a timely and friendly manner, catalogs and communicates needs to corresponding departments, and manages any resolution needed until completion. The CSA is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously. The CSA will be managed by the Director of Merchandising and interact frequently with the Marketing and Warehouse teams.
The person in this role needs to be a team player who is well-rounded, has a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:*
- Handling all incoming customer inquiries and questions while maintaining a professional tone
- Providing the appropriate information and helping direct information inter-departmentally
- Resolving problematic issues and utilizing team resources when needed
- Resolving customer order adjustments with correct and complete inventory resolution and payment reconciliation when needed
- Ability to navigate multiple intersecting platforms (Lightspeed, Clover, Shopify, Shipstation, Gorgias, Etsy, Bandcamp, and Google Suite)
- Maintaining an organized customer database by following provided systems and seeking opportunities to improve them
- Maintains and updates store information adjustments on website and third party directories (Store hours, closures, etc.)
- Handles any internal support for customer inquiries related to promotions, product offerings, loyalty program details, etc.
- Adhering to a company’s policies and procedures at all times when assisting customers
- Manages and updates job manual, outlining system changes as they occur
- Manages outreach and processing for Business to Business (B2B) inquiries with support from the Marketing Department and Warehouse Team.
- Prepare, activate, and monitor promotional codes or sales for both online and in-store platforms
- Ability to support high volume times in other departments if workflow is manageable

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented
- Experienced with Shopify and Etsy, or similar eCommerce platforms
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Documents
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Some schedule flexibility required
- Reliable with scheduled shifts
- We prefer candidates who have at least one year within an administrative or customer service role, but we are willing to train the right person.
