Customer Service Representative/CA 2 Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and/or emails
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Ability to handle customer complaints with defusing tactics, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer orders and file
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Verifies and logs receipt of data.
  • Opens, reviews, rejects, and delivers office mail.
  • Prepares, compiles, and sort of documents for data entry.
  • Fulfillment of consumer orders for secure documents.
  • Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, microfilm and/or optical scanners.
  • Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software and programs.
  • Verifies integrity of data by means of proofreading, reviewing conduct and maintaining compliance which includes but not limited to data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Completes additional assigned tasks and cross training as required.

Customer Service Representative/CA 2 Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards, policies, and laws
  • Strong proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use basic office equipment
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines by demand
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or equivalent training
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Work Hour

  • 5-day work week (Monday – Friday)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
