Hours: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

100% ON SITE

Job Summary:

Specialist will process initial and redetermination applications to determine program eligibility for applications from an assigned region. The Specialist is responsible for conducting programmatic and operational activities within an assigned region of the scholarship administration function/section of the program within the department. This includes the eligibility determination both initial and redetermination applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Specialist will perform tasks involving:
• Processing assigned electronic and hard copy initial applications to determine program eligibility.
• Processing assigned electronic and hard copy renewal applications to determine ongoing eligibility.
• Verifying eligibility through appropriate documents and contact with consumer's employer, education institution, and any other third party entity that may verify eligibility; and applying eligibility policies accordingly.
• Processing referrals from departments to determine eligibility.
• Providing resolution to customer concerns and issues that arise.
• Providing initial consumer education.

• Enters data from forms, records, reports, and/or other sources into data systems for purposes such as maintaining databases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $27.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
