JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER
COMPANY & JOB DESCRIPTION:
Builder’s Best is a manufacturer of residential and commercial venting solutions. The Account Manager Position is a new position at Builder’s Best. This position interfaces with customers via portals, email and telephone. You will be entering customer’s orders and providing assistance on order delivery and receipt. Working with a team at first, eventually you will develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal departments to coordinate the timely and successful delivery of products manufactured and/or distributed out of our three plants; Jacksonville TX, Jacksonville FL, and Las Vegas NV.
DUTIES:
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
- Work to clarify customer requests, communicate those requests to the responsible department, and provide the necessary resolutions for the customer to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product
- Work with sales team, marketing, production and shipping to get sales orders processed
- Prepare complete and accurate orders, shipping documents and electronic transmissions
- Track, document and retrieve information in electronic databases
- Gain a working understanding of our product line and how our customers use the product
- Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers
- Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in appropriate field of study preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of sales/customer service preferred
- Dependable
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Ability to listen to customer, demonstrate empathy, communicate situations effectively with involved departments, and respond to customer in a professional manner
- Strong computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good understanding of: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
- Basic understanding of and willingness to learn: Microsoft Access, Enterprise Resource Management software (M1, Macola), EDI, Stamps.com, and other office software programs
- Excellent communication skills; must be a listener and a people-person
- Data and workflow analysis
- Basic knowledge of IT systems
- Client request assessment
