Customer Service/Office Representative
Dead Broke Farm is seeking a motivated individual who works well without direct supervision. This position is 80% remote and has the potential of transitioning to 100% remote for the right person. The ideal candidate will live in or near the triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill).
The person in this position will be responsible for taking incoming calls, scheduling riding appointments, and taking reservation deposits over the phone. Other tasks include checking emails, social media, texts, selling and mailing gift certificates, registering summer campers, inputting data into Google Sheets, and efficiently relaying information to the farm staff.
Required Skills
Proficient with the various Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
This person needs to be very organized, friendly, helpful, and empathetic.
Riding experience and horsemanship knowledge preferred.
Excellent communication skills and friendly customer service attitude.
Home Office Setting
Reliable, high speed home Internet connection.
Cell phone (iPhone preferred)
Google drive setup on computer and phone
Word and Excel proficient
Quiet, professional setting when on calls (no barking dogs, children crying, loud restaurant background noise, etc)
Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
Must be willing to check voice messages after hours in the event that a call/message comes in that our horses are out. Immediately notify the farm if our horses are out. Otherwise, follow up on voice mail messages during regular business hours.
Qualifications
Must have horse knowledge, internet, laptop and phone access, friendly customer service orientated.
