Status: Temp to hire

Location: La Palma, CA

Schedule: M-F 8-5

What you’ll be doing:

Responds and notifies customers by telephone or e-mail to provide answers to questions including but not limited to:

• Order payments
• On hold questions and update customers on order impact
• Applying for credits
• RGAs
• Taking payments on accounts for customers as requested.
• Checking for rebates, credits, overpayment, and Buck Credits in the shutter system for customers.
• Locating and sending PDF invoices for customers as requested.
• Outstanding balances due.
• Finding and track orders in the Shutter System website.
• Transfers/escalates call when appropriate.

Assist customers with system issues such as

• Online bill pay

Use / update company systems and run reports:

• Update CC/ACH information in Sales Support as required
• Enter notes recapping activity within and account in A/R notes
• Look up dealer information on website and and other systems
• Daily past due report review and account notifications

Have understandings of:

• Company product lines
• Manufacturing locations
• Shipping standards
• Level 99 and account settings

Your strengths and experience may include:

Critical knowledge, skills, or abilities, which are necessary for a new person to perform at the acceptable level of the position

Basic light problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong verbal and written communications skills, including phone & email with an ability to clearly articulate the status of an order to a variety of audiences

Some analytical thinking to solve basic issues

Proven ability to build solid relationships and work effectively with others at all levels of an organization. (Internal and external stakeholders.)

Proficiency in Microsoft computer skills, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, & Zoom

Proficiency in interactive phone system

Proactively address customer concerns with confidence. Know when to escalate & partner with leadership team
