The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating customer inquiries related to past, current, and future orders, and directly handles the day-to-day needs of existing customers. This position uses knowledge of capabilities, processes, and materials application to provide input and guidance, as well as assist with customer leads. You will work closely with our sales team, production team, and clients to ensure that all customer needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Essential duties:
- Coordinate pre-quote review and complete RFQs
- Review and price repeat jobs/estimate & establish pricing for new jobs
- Generate quote letters
- Maintain customer files
- Coordinate proofs, material samples, protoypes
- Enter and monitor progress of orders and implement customer changes
- Coordinate customer complaints
- Makes recommendations for improvements in products/services

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or related discipline preferred) or 2-year degree with equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Works well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 + years of customer service experience.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or other technical material.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems for data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with lean and six sigma methodology.
