Customer Services Team Leader
$25.34 starting pay
Job Level: Individual Contributor
What You Will Be Doing:
Coach, provide workflow guidance and serve as a reference person to Customer Services Representatives. Keep abreast of management priorities and lead other CSRs in direction when appropriate. Obtain/maintain agent's P&C producer's license in order to provide insurance quotes, transact new business and policy changes. Assist customers with policy access and questions regarding Shelter's public website. Handle incoming emails and calls from policyholders, claimants, agents and other consumer contacts. Answer claims, policy and underwriting questions within scope of authority. Receive and record loss reports, confirms coverage, obtains claim information and enters claim in system. Receive and enter complaint information in tracking system and assists callers within scope of authority.
What We're Looking For:
- Superior coaching, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy necessary to assist in a wide variety of situations
- Ability to obtain and maintain an agent’s P&C producer’s license
- Superior oral communication skills, particularly the ability to listen, understand and explain insurance information to policyholders and others
- Strong interpersonal skills for responding to inquires and complaints
- Ability to operate personal computer, internet, and various software packages
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
