- Retrieve, stock restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
- Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Turn in keys and unused supplies at the end of the shift.
- Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Bathrooms - Ensure that all bathrooms are completely cleaned and sanitized per hotel standards and utilizing hotel approved chemicals and supplies.
- Bed Standard - All bedding is stripped and made tight, neat and to hotel standards.
- General Room Responsible to empty all trash, wipe down all surfaces, reset all furniture, clean and wipe refrigerators, set all amenities, ensure all placement standards are met (hangers, curtains, pillows, TV supplies, nightstand supplies, etc.) and set electronic thermostat.
- Notify your supervisor of any maintenance issues in guest rooms.
- Bring all lost and found items to housekeeping office with room number and date on them. If it is something valuable, it needs to be given directly to a housekeeping supervisor to ensure it is locked up immediately.
- Previous housekeeping experience is an added plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Incredibly friendly, customer centric and loves to smile
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during shift
