DAS Lead Technician

Job Summary:
TriStruX is looking for a DAS Lead Technician to join our team. The DAS Lead Technician will support installing and servicing various cabling infrastructures for communication systems and other related products. This position's primary functions are to conduct the on-site testing, commissioning, service, upgrade, and troubleshooting of commercial wireless technology equipment and related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting site walks, performing site surveys, CW testing, cable sweeps, plotting, drawing up, and designing site maps, and installation of connectors, cabling, antennas, head- end, and remote electronics.
- Installing DAS wireless equipment using any combination of external and internal antennas, cable, and other appropriate components.
- Terminating wall and ceiling mounted components.
- Completing job related documentation and reports.
- Installing DAS wireless equipment; antennas, coaxial, CAT 5/6/7 cable, fiber optic, etc.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years in a hands-on-capacity implementing in-building Wireless Systems such as WiFi, DAS & Small Cell networks, or as an electrician’s apprentice, commercial low voltage cabling installer, fiber installer, or Communications lineman.
- Basic knowledge about electrical circuits.
- Willingness to learn and actively installing in a fast-paced environment.
