JOB DESCRIPTION
DAY TO DAY:
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician to support the internal data centers in Westerville, OH, Lebanon, OH and Hamilton, OH. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, supporting and maintaining the functions within the data center. There may be some tasks involving re-running cables, etc. within the data center. This person should be able to work without much direct supervision and should have strong attention to detail.

The position also includes:
- Tracing cables and recording source/destination
- Palletizing servers and switches that have been decommissioned.
- Removing unused underfloor cabling
- Labeling traced cables
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A few years of IT experience (technician/help desk/support/analyst, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work without direct supervision
- 1-2 years of Data Center experience (supporting, running cables, servers/switches, tracing, etc.)
