Data Coordinator
PROGRAM: Head Start/Early Head Start/CCP
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Start Executive Assistant
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and strong experience as a secretary required. Professional training is a plus. Must have experience with a variety of software applications, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Publisher. Must possess the ability to work in a group, be able to multi-task, take initiative, and work with minimal direction. Attention to detail and strong organizational and oral/written communication skills are essential.
Data Coordinator must be willing to learn Head Start Performance Standards as well as Head Start and OVEC Policies and Procedures. Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance and have reliable transportation. Must be able to stand, sit, bend and walk for periods of time to meet job requirements. Must have physical, TB test, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Comply with the Head Start Performance Standards as well as Kentucky Childcare Licensing regulations and Head Start and OVEC Policies and Procedures
· Understand and comply with Child Care Licensing, STARS, ITERS, ECERS as applicable to position
· Enter Health (including Prenatal) and Family Services information as well as any referrals and follow-up into ChildPlus in a timely manner
· Work with Specialists to document, track and follow-up on referrals and services using ChildPlus Health and Family Services report
· Enter new employees and in-kind (nonfederal share) into ChildPlus
· Support staff with vision, hearing, B/P and height and weight screenings, if needed.
· Compose, format, and proofread letters and reports.
· Organize, maintain and order office or project supplies.
· Prepare and organize materials for trainings and meetings.
· Assist in organizing and planning of annual pre-service training.
· Provide additional support to program staff as requested.
· Assist with monthly staff meeting agenda and board report.
· Assist in preparation of materials for mailing to Policy Council members and Family Advocates for monthly meetings.
· Provide scheduled support for receptionist during lunch or leave periods.
· Disseminate newsletters, School Readiness reports and other pertinent items to parents.
· Prepare the annual planning calendar.
· Input forms for TRIS trainings, and add new employee information into TRIS system.
· Other duties as assigned.
COMPENSATION: Annual contract with a maximum contract of 240 days. Salary based on experience in accordance to OVEC’s Head Start/Early Head Start Classified Employee Salary Schedule.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.99 per hour
