The Data Engineer will be responsible for the following

• Develop and maintain ad-tech related data systems using Java and other software technologies
• Work alongside multiple teams for the implementation of products; data streaming and aggregation pipelines
• Understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions, working closely with engineers and stakeholders
• Have the ability to solve complex technical challenges as they relate to low latency large scale distributed systems

The ideal candidate will have

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Java; 8+ years strong Java experience
• B.S in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Big data and streaming technology experience required; Apache kafka, Apache Spark, Confluent platform, Apache storm,Hadoop and Zoekeeper
• Strong communication, trouble shooting and documentation skills
• SQL/NoSQL database experience
