This position will be worked remote once your onboarding is completed in our Tampa, FL office. Do NOT apply if you are not local to Tampa. Local only.”

Responsibilities:

· Keys in data as established by the provided templates within the application for healthcare claim forms and other document types as assigned by the management team.

· Verifies data produced or extracted by character recognition software (OCR) against the provided images and make any necessary corrections.

· Performs his/her own checks in accordance with established procedures and quality assurance standards to ensure user-supplied data is accurate.

· Responsible for understanding and meeting productivity, accuracy, and privacy expectations (HIPAA).

· Informs management whenever encountering a problem in the supplied data or defects in the equipment in effort to avoid production delays.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in data entry or other related fields

· Previous healthcare experience preferred

· Excellent typing skills

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

· Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
