Job Brief
Perform timekeeping clerical duties to the payroll department including but not limited to; data entry, record keeping, and problem solving for multiple departments to maintain the database(s) of employee timekeeping records.

Perform timekeeping clerical duties to the payroll department including but not limited to; data entry, record keeping, and problem solving for multiple departments to maintain the database(s) of employee timekeeping records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform timekeeping clerk functions, including but not limited to; data entry, record keeping, and problem solving for multiple departments to maintain the database(s) of employee timekeeping records.
Distribute and collect timecards each pay period/daily.
Complete/verify time sheets showing employees' arrival and departure times.
Keep track of leave time; excused and unexcused time off for all eligible employees.
Analyze and evaluate current period payroll timekeeping issues.
Seek continuous improvement in all areas related to reporting and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Participate in audit efforts to ensure timely reporting and sound controls.
Work directly and remotely with other department personnel.
Maintain KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and score cards to drive continuous improvement.
Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or knowledge equivalent to in a related field.
Time and attendance tracking in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Word Processing software.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
