Job description
We are seeking a Data Entry Operator.
- This employee is responsible for entering data from Hepatitis Risk Assessments forms received by the Viral Hepatitis and Outbreak Response Section
- This employee will enter this information into the Surveillance Tools and Reporting System (STARS) system
- The incumbent handles protected health information on a need to know basis following Department of Health, HIPPA and Information Security Policy Protocols and Procedures
- This employee abides by State/Federal laws governing health information
- Completes Timesheets weekly and submit them for approval
Minimum Skill Requirement:
- Skill in operating a personal computer
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Ability to follow office procedures and practices
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
