Job Title: Data Entry Specialist I

Department: Purchasing

Reports To: Data Entry Lead

Position Type: Full-time

Position Classification: Non-Exempt

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Job Description

The role is responsible for maintaining, updating, and expanding our product catalog, keeping fitment information up to date, and manipulating data to import new products. Strive to create the most informative and accurate data sets that allows for easy sales and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

Job Duties

  • When possible, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Maintains database by importing smaller sets of new and updated product data with assistance from team members
  • Minimal MySQL knowledge
  • Beginning to understand all of our systems and how they interact with one each other (ERP, AWS, websites, database)
  • Basic understanding of spreadsheets
  • Monitor and understand key metrics to ensure all operations and processes are running successfully
  • Assist with minor data related bug fixes
  • Ability to follow standards, documentation, and direction
  • Beginning to understand agile fundamentals
  • Reviewing vendor’s data prior to import to ensure it meets our standards for data usability and accuracy

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree

Experience

  • 3 years of computer experience, required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
