We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Data Manager 3 to work out of Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL. Supporting the AFLCMC/HI Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES). Directorate Customer Services Division HIC provides a spectrum of support services covering Resource Management, Operations and Special Projects and Events to BES personnel at Wright-Patterson AFB and Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, AL. Service capabilities are clearly advertised to the BES populous and provide a one-stop shop in a defined and consistent manner, enhancing our customer support while using significantly fewer BES resources.

Essential Duties:

The successful candidate will support Senior Leadership by conducting research and compiling data associated with acquisition programs. Functions may include:

  • Preparing various reports and documents while complying with Air Force writing standards for factual, clear, concise, complete, and appropriately coordinated written communications
  • Reviewing high level Air Force communications packages (Memos, White Papers, etc) for accuracy
  • Disseminating data regarding program policy and guidance for members throughout the organization
  • Coordinating and documenting meetings and conferences to include scheduling, set up of physical and virtual meetings, travel to include thorough working knowledge of Defense Travel System (DTS) tool and ensuring data output is communicated to all principals
  • Knowledge of SharePoint to include file uploading/sharing/tracking.
  • Reviewing high level Air Force communications packages (Memos, White Papers, etc.) for accuracy
  • Business Office experience with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite to include PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff Level Support interface)

Preferred Qualifications:

Performing Microsoft SharePoint administration duties. Responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities. Duties may include:

  • Configuring SharePoint services and settings
  • Documenting SharePoint configuration and architecture
  • Managing site quotas and file size limits
  • Reviewing and monitoring usage reports
  • Managing content databases and creating new ones as required
  • Administering and maintaining sites
  • Managing site layout structure and content
  • Providing SharePoint support to end users

Education/ Certification:

  • BS or MS in Data Management, Data Analysis or similar
  • 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years within the DoD
