In line with our mission, we are looking to recruit a Data Quality Specialist on our Credentialing team.

The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for reviewing and documenting the compliance data needed to ensure departmental standards and expectations are met. This position is responsible for monitoring requests for new applications, reviewing provider data for accuracy and ensuring all established federal and state standards for credentialing are upheld.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor client requests for new applications, prioritizing accordingly
  • Create and review applications for quality assurance
  • Assign data entry tasks to support new applicant requests
  • Review completed data entry to ensure accuracy
  • Report quality findings as appropriate
  • Assist with process improvement and best practice protocol mapping
  • Maintain knowledge of credentialing standards
  • Assist with quality-based projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Two (2) or more years relevant credentialing experience
  • Aptitude to understand and explain software systems and new processes
  • Knowledge of accreditation and credentialing best practice standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates
  • Effective analytical skills and acute attention to detail
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and carry out work assignments independently
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
