Data Specialist


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibilities of this role, Data Specialist, are to:


  • Timely entry of quality data;
  • Pull and analyze data reports including, but not limited to, quality reports, cost analysis and production analysis (monthly metrics);
  • Supply reliability, to include creation, maintenance, and closing of bagging orders and monthly supply reporting, as required;
  • Create purchase requisitions and manage packaging and treatment supplies, as required;
  • Assist with inventory management and physical inventories;
  • Generate and maintain KPI reports to identify trends within operations;
  • Data analysis for Focused Improvement projects;
  • Train new employees on data management and Standard Work;
  • Perform data integrity checks and self-audits;
  • Partner with Process Leads for alignment across site operations;
  • Subject matter expert that partners with internal process owners for timely solutions;
  • Assist the Field Department with data entry and management (contracts and field tools) and grower accounting activities;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Position entails driving a company vehicle (pooled or assigned to the individual). This may include being required to drive greater than 5,000 business miles annually in a personal, pooled, or rented vehicle OR being expected to frequently drive a pooled car as part of your job duties – regardless of mileage.

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Valid Driver’s License;
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs;
  • Basic knowledge of IT (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or facilities with systems);
  • Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding tasks over 4 hours a day;
  • Able to work in a team and cultivate and maintain positive working relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills as this position interfaces with both external and internal associates;
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associates Degree;
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or Agriculture environment;
  • SAP experience/knowledge.
