If so, prepare to innovate, create, and inspire. The Data Architecture (Architect Senior Advisor) will be responsible for the hands-on development of event-driven scalable applications. Contribute and create Architecture runway from Product Backlog (Enabler Features aka Architecture Features).
Owns tech debt and collaborates w/ Product Management to remediate tech debts.
Participate in the Architecture Sync.
Contribute to evolving solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them.
Oversees and owns end-to-end architecture (solution integration) of the features assigned to the respective Train(s).
Supports work-product-inspection review and approval process and sign-off.
Provides consultation and SME support for all projects that impact his/her domain.
Participate in Quick-size efforts.
Support intake management efforts for new features and requirements.
Ad-hoc consultation for large programs or projects outside the domain.
General oversight of activities that go on within the domain.
Governance oversight for solutions impacting our domain.
Run/participate in Peer Reviews for work related to our domain.
Collaboration with other Solution and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Coordinate Project Application Compliance Assessment (PACA).
Capture NFR requirements and provides support during performance tests.
Daily coordination and working closely with the DEV team.
Qualifications:
High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Business Architect, or similar technical role.
7+ years of experience in IT delivery.
Excellent communication skills.
An excellent understanding of architectural / application/deployment patterns and best practices.
Solutions oriented with proven success in a fast-paced environment, even-keeled under pressure.
Highly autonomous, self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working within a dynamic environment.
5+ years of working in an object-oriented language: Python, Java, Spark (at least one of them).
3+ years of database –Dynamo DB, MS SQL Server, or Teradata (at least one of them)
Development experience of RESTful/API services, and microservices.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience developing in a CI/CD environment (Jenkins/Ansible experience a plus)
Experience in Scripting (AngularJS, JavaScript) is a plus
Experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong multi-cloud knowledge and use of micro-services
