Whiz Kidz is looking for energetic, caring, fun loving, experienced Teachers for our East Scottsdale location.

Job Description:

• Create and implement bi-weekly lesson plans
• Keep records: attendance, observations, accident reports, etc.
• Assist in setting up a safe and age-appropriate learning environment
• Help in organization, cleaning and maintenance of classroom materials.
• Actively participate with children
• Encourage children to be independent and self-initiating (dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Communicate clear expectations as to acceptable behavior, use of materials, and transitions.
• Redirect calmly in a positive manner.
• Discuss what will be communicated to parents with the classroom teacher(s) in order to give parents consistent messages.
• Establish and maintain a positive attitude, and relationship with parents, staff, and children.
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with other staff members.
• Keep information about children, families, and staff confidential.
• Be reliable and punctual in attendance.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

• High School diploma/GED or College diploma
• Hold a current and valid Arizona driver's license or state ID
• DPS Fingerprint Level One Clearance Card
• CPR and First Aid Card
• Maricopa County Food Handler's Certificate
• Documentation of a Negative TB test
• Must be able to pass the DCS Registry background check

• child care in a licensed facility: 1 year (Required)
