Job requirements
  • Experience in designing and developing robust, fault-tolerant data pipeline solutions that clean, transform, and aggregate data from source to warehouse (Snowflake) within a modern data stack (DBT, Python SQL, Spark Scala, AWS, Airflow, Git, etc.)
  • Design and implement of SlimCI for DBT against Snowflake
  • Ability to manage both structured and unstructured data - Work with multiple data sources (APIs, Databases, S3, etc.)
  • Own design, documentation, and lifecycle management of data pipelines
  • Help implement the CI/CD processes and release engineering for organization’s data pipelines
  • Build out robust tools to test, maintain, data pipelines and data platform Skills
  • Experience designing and developing data data integration solutions using DBT
  • 7 plus years of overall IT experience with more than 2 years of experience in DBT
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
  • Experience designing and developing CI/CD processes and managing release management for data pipelines for DBT
  • Proficient in Python, Spark/Scale, performant SQL, Git, Airflow, AWS, Informatica, working with APIs and other types of data sources
  • Knowledge of modern data stacks
  • Experience working with building pipelines that leverage containerization and/or micro-services
  • Past history of building data pipelines for any of the following: Google Analytics, ELOQUA, paid media services (Twitter Ads, etc.), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Drupal - Certifications in DBT, AWS preferred
