Wall Residences is seeking a DD (Developmental Disability) Day Treatment Program Manager for our WRAP (Wall Residences Activities Program) and In-Homes services in the Staunton & Waynesboro, VA areas. WRAP encompasses all areas of Community Engagement and Community Coaching.
A successful Program Manager candidate will have a clinical background with a working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports; the ability to develop supportive relationships with direct care support staff as well as the individuals who receive services and their families; and a background connecting people with meaningful community activities.
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (such as Social Work, Psychology, or Human Development) with at least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) and two years’ experience supervising employees is required. Must be willing to travel.
This position offers some flexibility in schedule and telecommuting and includes computer, phone, and company vehicle. Employee provides home office and internet access.
Hiring is dependent upon excellent references, an active driver’s license with a good driving record, and a criminal background check with acceptable results.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Human Development)
Required Experience:
- Supervising: 2 years
- Program Management: 1 year
- Experience in the field of DD: 1 year
Required Licensure or Certification:
Driver's License with acceptable driving record required that meets the following guidelines:
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
- No major violations within past 5 years
