The Kenya-Trusant Group is hiring a Senior Partnership Advisor to join our team to provide administrative and related institutional support services to the USAID Office of Acquisition and Assistance, M/OAA/Development, Democracy, and Innovation. The Partnership Advisor position is located in the Global Development Lab.

Job Description

• Support the Agency’s engagement with the private sector including the Community of Practice, the Agency’s Global Corporate Relationship Managers Network, providing advisory services to staff worldwide, and contributing to strategy development, research, and other knowledge products to help measure, inform, and evolve the Agency’s Bureau/Division.
• Advise various Agency teams on how to engage the appropriate partners, especially from the private sector, in early stages of problem definition, problem solving, and program design, individually and collectively – including planning, designing, and facilitating multi-stakeholder convenings and design processes.
• Work closely with regional Mission staff and regional/country level partners to develop a deep understanding of their needs, interests, and experiences engaging the private sector.
• Provide expert guidance for the Agency and outside audiences on the trends and key challenges in collaborating with the private sector to address development and humanitarian challenges. To do so incumbent will assemble, analyze, and communicate facts, evidence, and expert opinions and trends in the developing world

Qualifications

• Must have current Secret clearance.
• Has over ten years of experience and a B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. degree.
• Typically works on high visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently and may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
