HOERBIGER Corporation of America, INC. (HCA) is seeking a Debur Operator who is a career-minded individual looking for long-term growth and potential for our growing team. Based in Pompano Beach, FL HOERBIGER Corporation Of America, INC. is an industry leader in manufacturing for the oil and gas industry.

The Position of Debur Operator cleans, deburrs, polishes, or grinds items of metal, plastic, or rubber work pieces. Other duties may be assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes or rubs parts with wire brush, air turbine grinding or nylon brush.
• Holds part on machine table or bench.
• Deburrs or polishes parts
• Mounts part on machine table or chuck and holds or moves tools such as file, abrasive stone, or carbide burr against work piece to file, grind, polish or buff surface
• Cleans interior surfaces of holes. Changes tools on powered equipment
• Applies abrasive with emery cloth or other dressing to facilitate cleaning or polishing operation
• Places parts in and out of debur machine, media blaster and/or brush deburr
• Inspects parts for proper finish
• Performs other duties as may be required or assigned
• Most understand Quality inspection requirements, including ISO requirements.
• Understand operation of Calipers, micrometers, and profilometers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
