As an AptDeco Delivery Team Driver, you will be the face of the company, interacting with our customers and navigating a cargo van throughout the Bay Area to pick up and deliver items. AptDeco is looking for ambitious and reliable people who care about providing an excellent customer experience to join our growing team in South San Francisco.

AptDeco is a digital marketplace taking the hassle out of buying and selling used furniture and making the furniture industry more sustainable. Our customers love us because we handle everything from listing curation through delivery, creating a seamless experience from start to finish.

Starting compensation of $19 per hour + tips with room for steady growth.

$500 sign on bonus! $250 paid upon 30 and 60 days of employment.

You will:

• Work with a partner throughout the day to pick up and deliver pieces of furniture.
• Drive our vans throughout the SF area to pick up and deliver single pieces of furniture (65% of your time is spent driving / 35% of your time is spent picking up and delivering furniture).
• Inspect and wrap furniture at pick up and unwrap upon delivery to customers homes.
• Provide great customer service when picking up furniture from our sellers and delivering to our buyers homes.
• Follow AptDeco’s delivery protocol and process ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner.

You have:

• A valid driver's license in your state of residence and clean driving record, with no points on your license.
• A minimum of 2 years of non-probationary driving experience.
• The ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting from 75-100 pounds and carrying items up and down flights of stairs).
• The availability to work approximately 5 days per week, including some weekends.
• Experience working at a moving, delivery, or courier company is a plus.
• A functioning smartphone.
