Our client, a full service design and space planning company local to Rochester is actively seeking a professional and dedicated Installer for their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, salary is based on experience level
Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p (with opportunity for overtime)

Qualifications:
  • Experience with building, mill work, cabinetry, installation, etc.
  • An exceptional work ethic and commitment to a team
  • Ability to be customer facing, working in the least disruptive way possible to Operations.
  • Submit Installation package to Operations.
  • Work with manufacturers and vendor reps to obtain education on new products and offerings, along with receiving samples and other pertinent information
Responsibilities include installation and reconfiguration of furniture within a customer's facility or corporate space. You will be expected to drive to designated locations in the company’s box truck to load and unload new products from installation trucks, as well as perform site cleanup after installation. You should be comfortable building products if needed before delivery, as well as using general tools to assemble products.
  • Read prints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material, tool, and work aid requirements.
  • Responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Secure metal framing to walls.
  • Fit, align, and hang panels, work surfaces, etc.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have experience using tools.
  • Maintain a “positive” and cooperative “can do” attitude especially during problem resolution and difficult situations
