Job Summary:
A delivery manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing the entire software development process. He or she oversees a project to ensure its success by coordinating teams, resources, and activities.
Typically, most of our large projects are cross-functional, where Creative, Brand Strategy, Experience, Integrated Intelligence, Digital Experience and Technology Services teams collaborate to deliver the project. While the designated Project Manager is accountable for the success of the overall project, Delivery manager works closely with Project Manager to ensure that Tech Services scope of work is effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:

The DM is the client and account facing individual in charge of all technical conversations. Goal is to reduce other technical team members from having to be on every call/email. Ideal scenario is that the DM represents the tech team on calls, passes through new requirements or facilitates discussions to confirm any requirements in partnership with a BA.

If joining a technical meeting/call, then the DM (or their BA) is responsible for meeting notes to internal stakeholders and assisting account with any client follow-ups. Meeting notes should be broken down into their respective documentation (Requirements docs, project trackers, etc.)

Managing all technical resource & technical budget conversations for their account

Owner of the technical timeline (as a piece of the Workfront Timeline). Day to day collaboration with PM to update timeline or alerting about potential technical blockers.

Owner of the centralization of all BRD in coordination with relevant stakeholders. DM works with BA and stakeholders to make sure the requirements docs are always up to date and linked in appropriate conversations (whether in Workfront, Confluence or SharePoint/Teams).

Manage any and all technical conversations and requests. Coordinate with PM for any deliverables related to non-Tech services teams. In some cases, the PM will lead the vendor relationship (especially if creative or front-end driven) and DM will support PM with any technical deliverables and requirements. Coordinate with Account and PM for any financial or budget issues.

Evaluating consumer feedback and instituting changes as necessary to manage expectations
Qualifications

Minimum 7 year’s total experience in Software Development area with 2 years or more in a similar managerial role with direct client responsibilities.

Proven ability managing developers and project managers.

Excellent leadership skills coupled with team and client management skills.

In depth knowledge of project management principles (waterfall as well as agile), software development practices, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project / workfront, etc.

Meet or exceed KPIs measured by quality of your contributions, delivery team's deliverables on budget and on schedule, client, and team feedback.

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.

knowledge/experience in Cloud and DevOps platforms/ technologies/ services/ practices

Bonus: Experience in a client support and advisory technical role (Solution architect, technical project manager or equivalent)
