• Arrive on time, have reliable transportation to work.
• Respond to dispatch text daily. We require employees to confirm via text they will be at work the following day.
• Do not bother applying if you have criminal convictions. I can't send you into a clients' home or clear you for JBER access if you have a criminal history. Our first step, is checking Court View.
• This job requires significant physical effort! You must know how to appropriately lift items; and be able to maneuver them so as not to damage the products being transported, or the clients property while doing the moving.
• You need a clean driving record for at least 3 years for our insurance.
• You MUST be able to SPEAK AND READ ENGLISH, as assembly instructions are in English.
• MUST meet the FMCSA requirements for drivers.
• Conduct DOT inspection of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Be able to perform simple vehicle maintenance: adding oil, changing bulbs
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to instructed specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on an assigned route, unless directed by the scheduling office to alter route.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers & office
• Unload goods, bring into homes or businesses, unbox, assemble furniture if necessary.
• Work with the rest of the delivery crews when unexpected events happen
• Review delivery with customers to ensure we have fulfilled their expectations
• Obtain delivery confirmation and payment from each customer
• Being reasonably tech savy: able to operate a phone, a credit card app etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are supplied, gloves on request. Since the loosening of local rules we are not requiring our employees to wear masks unless a customer specifically makes a request.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Alaska Drivers License - no points (Required)
