SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties are subject to accommodation in accordance with the American Disability Act (ADA).
- Responsible for Receptionist functions including greeting patients, answering telephone, scheduling appointments and verifying patient’s demographics and financial information records.
- Prepare encounter form and records. Enter encounter data into Practice Management System and reconcile encounters with schedules.
- Manage medical records functions and filing records daily.
- Handle cash, collect co pays and reconcile payments daily.
- Maintain and stock inventory within the department.
Qualifications:
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- Knowledge in medical terminology and Coding.
- Proficient with computer and software such as Practice Management System.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or Business Institute Certificate or two years relevant experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the working conditions are good with little or no exposure to extremes in health, safety hazards and/or hazardous materials. This person must have the ability to travel as required to work with staff.
