Sacramento Community Clinic is a non-profit federally qualified health center established to provide quality comprehensive primary healthcare to low income and ethnically diverse and underserved populations residing within the City of Sacramento.

Job Duties

The primary responsibilities of the Dentist are to provide primary dental services to patients. The job duties of the Dentist are as follow, but not limited to:

• Dental exam, hard and soft tissue exam, period screening and charting, oral cancer screening, treatment plan.
• Prophylaxis (adult and children), scale and root planning if needed
• Fillings, Amalgam and composite
• Crown and Bridge (Fixed)
• Dentures – partials and complete (removable)
• Root Canals (Anterior and Bicuspid)
• Extractions (routine and surgical limited to abilities)
• Emergency exam and prescribing appropriate medication
• Perform other duties as assign by CEO and Dental director.
• Rotate to different dental department as needed
• Assisting with the Credentialing process with health plans as required
• Answer patients phone call and completing administrative documents
• Adhere to the organizations dental and employment policies and procedures

Qualification:

• California Dentist License
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate
• DDS or DMD
• Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19

Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Rotational Saturday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
