Your Opportunity
The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing onsite/deskside and remote 2nd level technical support and analysis on various aspects of end user systems support. These systems and responsibilities include, but are not limited to support of technology hardware(Desktops, Laptops, etc.), virtual desktops (VM/VDI), software, mobile device and video conferencing.
This individual will perform system administration and maintenance of end user systems utilizing standard industry tools, management consoles and administration portals.
This role is 100% onsite.
What you are good at
Provide second level support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) involving desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, and personal printers for employees working locally or remote.- Manage assigned Remedy tickets, communicate with customers, document work performed and status in tickets, close all tickets in a timely manner and update asset status in the CMDB.
- Assure and adhere to the Asset Management processes and procedures for asset accuracy in the CMDB. This includes timely updates to the asset status/sub-status and all required fields.
- Participate in team project work that may include periodic after hours and weekend work.
- Adopt and implement business and process improvements.
- Collaborate regularly with peers or external and internal partners.
- Work independently but receive some guidance and instruction from Site Lead and Manager. Typically receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
