LSSI is hiring a full-time Developmental Trainers to assist adults with developmental disabilities to engage and inspire them to achieve their hopes and dreams through a variety of activities.

Essential Functions:

• Engage clients in activities to achieve their hopes and dreams.
• Drive and escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. into the community.
• Guide individuals through their personal plans.
• Provide advocacy and support to clients.
• Enjoy a team atmosphere and positive work environment while assisting clients.
• Support clients with personal care needs.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance preferred.
• Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position.
• Completion of in-house certification.
