DevOps Engineer

Essential Functions:

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer who is passionate about bringing creative software solutions to end customers. If you want to join a company that values people that are fearless about making technology work, we want you to work for AIT!

For this role, you will:

· Work in an agile environment as part of a full design and development team, participating in scrum ceremonies, interacting with and supporting our customers

· Continuously improve our lower environments and support client production team, as possible

· Support the developer team in refreshing lower environments, maintaining, and troubleshooting

· Deploy CICD workflows and improve the scope of existing ones

· Serve as the subject matter expert for containerization and DevOps and provide relevant advice to team members and customers

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience (or equivalent years of experience) in DevOps/DevSecOps

· Experience with deploying containerized applications

· Familiarity with, and understanding of, Kubernetes and container-native workflows

· Experience with CICD and automation technologies such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines

· Experience deploying services on at least one of the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Hands-on experience administering Linux operating systems (configuring services, cron, bash scripting, hardening, etc.)
